This Privacy Notice describes how delio24 ("VoicyBooks", "we") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use voicybooks.com (the "Service").

Account Data	Email, name, profile picture (from Google Sign-In / Firebase Auth)
Uploaded Content	Book files (PDF, EPUB, DOCX, etc.), extracted text
Usage Data	Pages visited, features used, generation settings, voice selections
Payment Data	Transaction IDs, amounts (card details handled by Stripe)
Technical Data	IP address, browser, device, cookies, Turnstile bot detection tokens

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Consent: Marketing, non-essential cookies
Contract: Providing the Service you requested
Legitimate Interest: Security, fraud prevention, service improvement, bot detection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Legal Obligation: Tax, regulatory compliance

6. How We Use Information

To provide and improve the audiobook generation Service
To process payments and deliver generated audiobooks
To authenticate users via Firebase / Google Sign-In
To store your library of generated books
To protect against bots and abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To communicate about Service updates and support
To prevent fraud and abuse

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share data with trusted service providers:

Google — Firebase Authentication (auth), Cloud Storage (file hosting)
Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, Turnstile bot detection
Stripe — payment processing (card data never touches our servers)
OpenAI — MCP protocol compatibility for ChatGPT Apps (metadata only, no user content)

We do NOT sell personal data. All AI processing of uploaded book files happens on our own infrastructure.

8. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the US, EU, and other jurisdictions. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required by GDPR.

9. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while account is active
Uploaded books and generated audiobooks: Retained until you delete them from your library
Payment records: Retained as required by law (typically 5-10 years)
Usage logs: Retained up to 90 days
Turnstile bot detection data: Retained per Cloudflare's policies

10. Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. Contact support@delio24.com. Upon deletion:

Account profile is removed from Firebase Auth
Library books and audiobooks are deleted from storage
Payment records retained as required by law

11. Data Security

We implement: encryption in transit (TLS 1.3 via Cloudflare), encryption at rest (Google Cloud Storage), access controls, regular security reviews, Cloudflare DDoS protection, and Turnstile bot detection to prevent automated abuse. Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1) handles all payment card data — our servers never touch card numbers.

13. CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

California residents have rights to: know what data is collected, request deletion, opt out of sale (we don't sell data), and non-discrimination for exercising rights.

14. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

15. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice. Material changes will be notified via the website or email.
